The Bubble Life by Niels Huizer

THE BUBBLE LIFE is a exhibition of drawings by KEEK’s own Niels Huizer! He explored visual ideas of people living in isolation during the first lockdown in 2020. From people living in domes desperately keeping their minds occupied to ever unreliable lifting of regulations. People longing for physical contact, suffering lockdown fatique, having to deal with bad worldly news and somehow trying to get back to work during a pandemic. Huizer tried to capture and play with these states of being in his artwork. 

On September 2nd we’re organizing a festive opening of the exhibition with a presentation, drinks and snacks. You’re welcome from 20:00 and the official opening will be at 20:30, after which there will be enough time to look at the art, talk and spend time together (which is extra special after these lockdown years). We can’t wait to see you all there and to enjoy this evening with everyone :)
