Mother Language by Solanyi van Solingen

Solanyi van Solingen is a multimedia artist and researcher who deals with nature in its magical essence. The exhibition shows drawings that explore  the interrelationships between humans and the more-than-human world. Birthed from her curiosity into our plant-siblings, animal-kins, and fungi, Solanyi creates morphing(s). These new beings show the connection between humans, nature, and our mutually-interlocked flourishing. The artist asks herself how to take and share the gifts of the natural world in a wise and balanced way. She wants us to understand that we live inside of nature as much as nature lives inside of us. 

On June 30th we’re organizing a festive opening of the exhibition with a presentation, drinks and snacks. You’re welcome from 20:00h and the official opening will be at 20:30, after which there will be enough time to look at the art, talk and spend time together. See you then!
