Among the Blossoms by Anne Jansen

Anne Jansen designs series of objects and clothing with a focus on wool and knitting. These series tell Anne’s story of a search for quietude and consolation, in a world that moves at breakneck speed. An ode to analogue craftsmanship and love for textile is central to her practice. Anne is led by her creative process, which results in undefinable, sometimes strange but lovable creatures or sculptures formed by her signature pleated knitwear.

Anne Jansen (1998) is a textile artist. She graduated with honors in 2022 at the HKU in the design department. Her work has been shown across galleries in Amsterdam and Utrecht, in an exhibition at Museum de Fundatie in Zwolle and her artworks were on loan for the Dutch Vogue.
